This Privacy Policy explains how THE Clarity Mateusz Rzetecki ("we", "Controller") processes the personal data of users of https://aisearchinsight.io (the "Service") in connection with the AI search visibility report service (the "Service").

2. Data we process

  • Data you provide: email address, website domain, optionally city/location, the content of the queries (prompts) selected for analysis.
  • Order and payment data: selected package, amount, payment status. We do not process card details — these are handled by Paddle (see Section 4).
  • Technical data: IP address, approximate location (geo-IP), device and browser type, server logs, cookie identifiers.

3. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)

  • Providing the Service / contract — Art. 6(1)(b): generating and delivering the report, email communication about your order.
  • Payment and accounting — Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) (legal obligations, e.g. tax).
  • Legitimate interests — Art. 6(1)(f): security, fraud prevention, analytics, establishing or defending legal claims.
  • Consent — Art. 6(1)(a) where required (e.g. certain cookies).

4. Payments — Paddle as Merchant of Record

Payments are handled by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd or the relevant Paddle entity). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all orders — Paddle takes the payment, issues receipts/invoices, handles tax, and processes refunds.

In respect of payment data, Paddle acts as a separate data controller. Data entered in the payment window (e.g. card details, billing address) is processed under Paddle's privacy policy: https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy

5. Recipients and processors

We share personal data only with trusted providers, to the extent necessary to provide the Service:

  • hosting and infrastructure provider (running the site and database),
  • payment processor - Paddle (Merchant of Record),
  • email delivery provider (report and transactional messages),
  • traffic analytics (Google Analytics) and cookie consent management (Cookiebot) - only with your consent.

To generate the report we use external analytics tools and AI engines that process the analysed domain and publicly available data and do not process your personal data (other than data you enter yourself in a query).

6. International transfers

Some providers (e.g. hosting, analytics) may process data outside the EEA/UK, including in the USA. Transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, in particular EU/UK Standard Contractual Clauses or other mechanisms compliant with applicable data protection law.

7. Retention

  • Order and report data — for as long as needed to provide the Service and for any legally required period (e.g. tax).
  • Technical data/logs — for the period necessary for security and analytics, no longer than 12 months.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing).

You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — for the Controller this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland; you may also contact the supervisory authority in your country of residence. To exercise your rights, email rodo@aisearchinsight.io.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you may have rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of "sale"/"sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact rodo@aisearchinsight.io.

9. Cookies

The Service uses strictly necessary cookies (e.g. session, security) and — only with your consent — Google Analytics 4 analytics cookies (traffic statistics). Consent is managed by the Cookiebot banner; until you consent, analytics runs in a limited mode (Google Consent Mode — without cookies). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings on the site and in your browser.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. The current version is always available on the Service with the date of last update.
